Dental Marketing 101: Tips for Social Media MarketingAugust 3, 2017 / byArs Lexis / Categories : Economist's View
Regardless if you are just starting out or have been in the dental practice for years, you need to have social media presence. With social media marketing, you could reach out to more clients and enhance the image of your brand, that is, if you do it right.
Keep Your Posts Short and Straight to the Point
For instance, if you want to post about root canal treatment, you could write about what the procedure entails, why a patient might need it, and what happens in aftercare. You could post multiple ones about it instead of one very long post. This way, you also have ample content available at your disposal.
Learn to Leverage Visual Content
Your followers would be more interested in scrolling through your feed if they see compelling and engaging visual content. You could post photos of your clinic, your staff, products you recommend, before and after treatment photos, and pictures of yourself while treating clients, with their approval of course.
For this, you should hire an excellent marketing specialist for dentists, such as Dominate Dental. Also, encourage your clients to post pictures of themselves as well. Also, do not confine yourself to pictures, post GIFs, infographics, and videos as well.
Hashtags Are Your Best Friend
When using hashtags, choose the ones most relevant to your posts. Ensure that your hashtags are simple and easy to remember. You should also limit them to four to five per post and stick to more specific hashtags and not generic ones unless that is what you were trying to target of course.
Be as Human as Possible
Put simply, your followers would be able to connect with your brand more if they can connect with you on a more personal level. This means that your posts should engage your followers. For example, you could post patient experiences, before and after pictures, and reviews from your clients.
Keep these tips in mind if you want to make your practice’s social media presence stand out from the rest. Monitor your pages regularly to see if there is room for improvement and determine how it is doing. Lastly, do not stop improving your posts and perfecting your social media marketing strategy.
